The 3rd of this series was created for my own back yard (or at least my own county)! Thanks to Kitsap County and their 1% for Arts program, I was selected by the Arts Commission to create something for the Kitsap County Fairgrounds. This iconic piece has stood the test of time. It is one of my first large-scale sculptures and has endured the loving public, hurricane-like winds, and even the impossible-to-stop moss and algae of the Pacific Northwest.
Kitsap County was one of my earliest supporters and help sustain and launch me in the lean early days of my career!
