The original two sister pieces in this series were completed many years ago. One is in a private collection and the other is in the Corporate collection of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington.

There has always been an ongoing interest in the series, so I have decided to create Equinox! This piece was completed days ago at this writing… on the Spring Equinox of 2022. I watch each phase of the never-ending seasons with such amazement; for all the galactic randomness in the universe the days where there is equal day and night keep us all in balance. Perhaps as the days head onward towards the Summer Solstice, I may create a celebratory work for that as well!
